Stremio

aioratings works with Stremio in two ways:

1. As an RPDB-compatible poster provider for “all-in-one” addons that have an RPDB key field — paste your aioratings key there.
2. As a native aioratings Stremio addon that adds ratings (and, for premium, award) cards to the stream list.

1. Drop-in RPDB key for AIO addons

Most rating-poster support in the Stremio ecosystem lives in aggregator addons. Anywhere one of these asks for a RatingPosterDB / RPDB key, paste your aioratings API key instead:

• AIOStreams
• AIOMetadata
• MediaFusion
• Comet

Steps (generic — exact labels vary per addon’s configure page):

1. Get an aioratings key from Dashboard → API Keys (see Getting a key).
2. Open the addon’s configuration page.
3. Find the RPDB API key (or “Rating Poster DB”, “poster ratings”) field and paste your aioratings key. If the addon also lets you set the RPDB base URL / host, set it to api.aioratings.com.
4. Save / reinstall the addon in Stremio.

idTypes supported: imdb, tmdb (use movie-{id} / tv-{id}) and tvdb.

Host vs. key

api.aioratings.com mirrors the RPDB URL shape, so addons that build the URL from a key plus a configurable host work directly. If an addon only takes a key and hard-codes a host you can’t change, use a full URL-template integration instead — see Migrating from RPDB.

2. The native aioratings Stremio addon

aioratings also ships its own Stremio addon at:

https://stremiov2.aioratings.com

It adds rating cards and the Oscar / Emmy award card to the Stremio stream view.

Setup:

1. Open https://stremiov2.aioratings.com/configure.
2. Paste your aioratings API key and click to validate it. The page confirms your tier.
3. Choose what to show:
   • Ratings Card — any of the MDBList sources (IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes critic & audience, Metacritic, Trakt, Letterboxd, MyAnimeList, MDBList, Roger Ebert, TMDB), on any tier.
   • Awards Card — the automatic top-right Oscar / Emmy winner statuette.
   • Profile (premium) — use a custom poster profile from the canvas designer.
4. Click Install to Stremio (or copy the addon URL and add it manually in Stremio → Addons).
